I found one of my brother's old Iced Earth cds (Burnt Offerings) the other day.. on the floor of the garage, hehe. Surprisingly enough, it actually plays, no skips or anything. I had heard them a little before, but never really got into it. If I had to guess, I wasn't really sure about their vocals. But then, I wasn't really sure of Blind Guardian's vocals either, and now they're one of my favorite bands. *grin* They do actually sound very Blind Guardian-ish. They kind of remind me of Pantera too. Mayhaps, with time, I will grow into Iced Earth as well.

Iced Earth is one of my favorite lyrical bands also, alongside Blind Guardian and Dream Theater.. Which are almost the only lyrical bands I listen to. Heh.

If you liked that CD, you might like Something Wicked This Way Comes and that other one I can't think of the name of. Gr... It's about Angels though.. Yeah.. The fourth track is The Hunter I think.. Or it might be the first track.. Dark Saga, that's it.

Aaanyway.. Them and Blind Guardian are very similar. If you like them, you'd like Demons and Wizards, which is actually Iced Earth and Blind Guardian together. (Vocalist from Blind Guardian is the singer)

Oh. And yes, Iced Earth IS one of the many bands I've told you about that I said you would like. Alongside Blind Guardian.

But like usual, it's just unimportant stuff I've said that you don't care about or listen to. Heh.

Ja, The Dark Saga is Schaffer's take on the whole Spawn thing, with 'The Hunter' being Track 4.

I've only heard Iced Earth with Matt Barlow on vocals. Was he on Burnt Offerings?

I'm not an enthusiast of Iced Earth, just listen to the music when I'm bored. Generally I'm not interested in the actual members of a band unless they're bands that I find to be absolutely amazing.

I do know Iced Earth just came out with a new album, and The Ripper (Old singer for Judas Priest) is the vocalist.
