I don't know anyone...

Do I not care to? Hm..

If you are as much like me as you seem to be, it isn't exactly (or maybe just) that you don't care to know anyone. You just know that in the process of learning who they are, they're bound to get to know you. That can be a frightening prospect for those of us who prefer to remain in our own little shell.

Never be ashamed of who you are, and you'll have the strength to learn that everyone else has just as many flaws as you thought you did.

it is not important that you know anyone, save yourself.
what is important is that you allow yourself to be known. to allow others into your box so they can stare at the wall with you. these are what forms bonds...

vulnerability is a positive force..not a negative one.

I want to be known... I want people to see me, and to understand me. But I also want to be left alone. I would rather be a model in a photograph than on stage. Then, they can look and see and appreciate what I am, but I am far away from there. I still have my space. I can touch without being touched. I don't even have to know they're looking.
