I was watching the Avs replay, cause I missed the game earlier, and they totally spoiled the ending for me by showing the scores of all the night’s games along the bottom of the screen. I had only caught a glimpse of it actually, but it showed the Avs beating Chicago 6-1. I thought, “That can’t be right. I must have read it wrong.” At the time, the game was in the third period with the Avs leading 2-1. I wasn’t sure whether it was showing the same scores that they showed in the earlier broadcast or whether they had actually updated them for the later broadcast. And it didn’t really make sense to me that they’d show the score to the game I was currently watching. So I thought maybe it for some other team. I didn’t actually see the team Colorado was playing, but I thought it had said NHL... So anyway, the Avs eventually got a 3-1 lead, and the clock kept ticking down. The possibility of them scoring three more goals seemed unlikely, but I kept wondering about it. And then, what do you know, they scored three goals in the last two minutes, hehe. Although I probably would have been more surprised if I hadn’t seen the final score ahead of time. Tsk. Anyway, their next game is against the Red Wings on Sunday at 10:30 in the morning. Bah, I’ll have to get up early!
