Altogether, I think it looks quite River-ish. :)
Let's see, I got a B on my paper for Comparative Religions and I got a 78 on my midterm for Intro to Theatre but she graded it on a curve (cause apparently we all did pretty crappy *snicker*) so I got a B+. I don't much care for my teacher in that class, cause she hasn't taught Intro before and she basically just knows costuming. So, yeah. But I think I can stick it out for another half a semester. I think I did alright on my paper and presentation. Mm... what else? I just started Pattern Drafting. And I still need to sew a zipper in my final project for Costuming and do a review of the costumes in a play I went to see. The work has been manageable so far though, so long as I keep track of what I need to do and when.
Oh, and Nightwish is coming to Denver in May! *cheers and sings* So happy, cause they missed us on their current tour. Now to decide whether to get regular or VIP tickets... And, guess what? I was mistakenly sent the wrong t-shirt from the Nightwish Shop, so I sent it back and got it exchanged for the right one, and they sent me a card signed by all the band too! How nice of them. :) I've been enjoying their new album. It took a few listens, but now I really like the majority of the songs. Some of my favorites are Sahara, The Islander, Last of the Wilds, and 7 Days to the Wolves. And also The Escapist, which was a bonus track on the Japanese version of the album and will be on the single Bye Bye Beautiful. Despite the fact that Chris doesn't like it :P, I really like the Islander. It's folk-sounding, sung mostly by Marco with Anette backing. And Eva just might be my new favorite ballad of theirs. Anette sings it beautifully. Her vocals are a different style from Tarja's, but I think they fit the songs well.
Also, I found out that this spring there are two classes taking a trip to Scotland and studying Scottish art and philosophy... Oh, I would love to go to Scotland and study art... But that's not really realistic or affordable... But think how much fun it would be! My philosophy teacher and another teacher are taking classes to India this spring too. But I don't think I'd enjoy that quite so much... And apparently there's also a biology class going to Costa Rica. Weird, I didn't realize there were that many opportunities for traveling abroad at RRCC. Hm, I must find some way to visit Scotland one day though. Perhaps when I'm rich and famous...
Yep. I think that's all. Oh, I still have to post photos of my other sewing projects and my designs from makeup class. Will try to do that sometime soon.
