I am officially in love with Carrie Hall's artwork. This is just incredible. Done in colored pencil. I would kill to be able to draw like that...

I feel like writing... Whenever I read one of Dean Koontz's novels, I get inspired to write. From now on, I should begin my days with a chapter from One Door Away From Heaven.

The works of the imagination... C'est tout j'ai besoin de.

She is a very good artist. I like how the woods are portrayed in some of her other pictures. Then again, I've always been amazed with how an artist can draw a curve so vividly in the third dimension on a two-dimensional area.

And you still haven't shown me any of your drawings, so I can't really compare you two, either- And that's bad.

I like http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/j/e/jenmiller/jenmiller.html who makes (someone else quote) "photorealistic griffons" I'm inclined to agree.

My favorite is http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/j/e/jenmiller/bloodygryph.jpg.html where the griffon so obviously squashed his pet tomato on accident.
